A new resource from the Presbyterian Mission Agency (PMA) is now available: “The Global Crisis for People Who Are LGBT and Their Families: A Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) Response.” This was developed to fulfill a commissioner resolution adopted by the 221st General Assembly (2014) -in the areas of Theology, Formation, and Evangelism; Compassion, Peace, and Justice; and World Mission— and is written in the spirit of the General Assembly’s long-standing commitment to the human rights of LGBT people.

The resolution said, in part:
In eighty-one countries where homosexuality is illegal, God’s global family includes lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) people who face persecution for simply being who they are, for whom they love, and with whom they create a family.

Feel free to share this resource with your colleagues in ministry, educational centers, Christian educators, and mission team leaders. Please see the resource below.
