“Love Welcome: A Faith-Based Forum on Supporting LGBTQ Refugees” will take place October 20-21 in New York City. This is a PC(USA) conference – open to anyone interested in attending – co-sponsored by the PC(USA) Office of Public Witness, Office of Immigration Issues, Presbyterian Disaster Assistance, the Presbyterian Ministry at the United Nations, and More Light Presbyterians.

Over two days, participants will learn about the specific challenges facing LGBTQ refugees and asylum seekers and examine a variety of ways in which congregations can provide support. The event will feature speakers from the UN, the Organization for Refuge, Asylum, & Migration, Familia, the Brooklyn Community Pride Center, and PC(USA). RSVP here: http://fpcnyc.org/lovewelcome/.
