The Wisconsin Council of Churches and The Christian Century magazine are holding their 40th annual Washington Island Forum from June 25-29. It includes 4.5 days of worship, workshops, discussion and contemplation in an ecumenical retreat setting. Keynote speaker is Rev. Angel Tree Program Seeking Sponsors

The nationwide Angel Tree program is recruiting new/returning churches who are interested in being a blessing to children and families affected by incarceration during the Christmas season and beyond. Once a church is registered, an Angel Tree Specialist will give info on the children the church has been assigned as well as any other details needed. PCUSA has launched a free online abuse prevention helpline (866-607-SAFE (7233)) in partnership with Praesidium, a national leader in abuse risk management. This helpline is provided for all PC(USA) congregations and members, especially children. The hotline can provide guidance on: What to do about suspicious interactions.
