Seminary Grant Application from Synod Available, Due April 1

The application for the 2018-2019 Wurffel-Sills Scholarship and Interest-Free Loan Program is now available. It is open to all members of Presbyterian churches within the Synod of the Northeast who will be attending school beginning in the Fall of 2018 for either undergraduate or seminary studies only. The deadline is April 1. Please see the application here.

Presbyterian Women Spring Gathering Set for April 21 in Maywood

Presbyterian Women of the Palisades will host a Spring Gathering on Saturday April 21 at the First Presbyterian Church of Maywood from 9:15 am to 1:30 pm. Rev. Artist Lucy Janjigian to Display Art through June 22 at Armenian Museum of Fresno

If you are in the Fresno, CA area through June, former West Side elder and artist Lucy Janjigian is showing “Creation of the Universe: and Eve. Where is Adam?” at the Armenian Museum of Fresno Exhibition Hall at UC Center. Lucy’s abstract Cubist works are inspired by nature, her travels and many years of Bible study. Angel Tree Program Seeking Sponsors

The nationwide Angel Tree program is recruiting new/returning churches who are interested in being a blessing to children and families affected by incarceration during the Christmas season and beyond. Once a church is registered, an Angel Tree Specialist will give info on the children the church has been assigned as well as any other details needed.
